It's been ten years since my father and I shared an oak tree together chasing a wily old long beard....I can't say it was worth the wait because that is just to long to wait to hunt with your father. Especially when you grew up hunting together...But it was a special opening day...We bagged this slunger together....

I wish I could get my Dad to go out. Every time I mention it, he mutters something about " . . .not since the Battle of Fort Sill!" and then something about Japanese and Koreans and then changes the subject.

I think he had a bad experience with armadillos when he was in Basic.
