Very nice!Congrats! I hunted Green Swamp for the 1st time on Saturday. Located some gobblers early but seemed like everyone else was on top of me. I am looking to get my 1st bird this year, I called one in for my Dad last year. How is Richloam compared to Green Swamp? I hunted Jumper Creek WMA opening day and did not see or hear a thing.r

The Baird Unit is decent due to the fact of 30 hunters for 11,000 acres. It is a quota hunt only. I hunted Jumper Creek third day of season and heard some birds but they gobbled on the limb and shut up soon as they hit the ground. Green Swamp I've only hunted once. Didnt hear anything that morning. It's really thick there. As for Richloam same scenario. Really thick. Pretty hard to hunt....

Hi Scott, Congrats on the bird Nice one, also good to see your wife hunts with you. My wife and I hunt all we can together and we take turns calling for each other and some times double up on gobblers so they think there more than one hen looking for love. How many of you other guys hunt with your wives or girlfriends? We have some of our best times together in the woods hunting or just spending time together outdoors.
