Its 6:30 in the morning and you've just snuck in unnoticed to the spot near where you roosted a bird the night before. Your decoys are setup and everything is going just the way you've been planning the last two weeks for the opener. The suns just about to come up as you reach into your vest that you've had packed for a week with the anticipation of battle. "I know I put it in here" you say to yourself as you fumble through each pocket two even three times just to make sure. "no, no, no" You just remembered you left your favorite call on the coffee table practicing the night before.

How many of you have forgot something on the way to the woods that just seemed to ruin your whole day? What was it?

I left my ThermaCELL in the bed of my truck once down at J/C, and that was a very bad situation. I left my drink in the truck another time. Both of these I learned from, and have not made the same mistake again.:)

Forgetting a Thermocell down there is not a good situation. I've been run out of there by mosquitos once or twice. When I went last monday I don't think I got bit one time. I better pack it though just in case.

I caught myself two times this last deer season forgetting my gun. Luckily I was only a couple minutes from the house.

A couple of years ago i forgot my hunting buddy. I was within 2 miles of were we hunt when i remember that I was suppose to pick him up. I had to turn around and drive 15 miles back to town. Now tell me i wasn't pumped up and in a hurry to get to the woods.

Not to CTS, but I climbed into my stand deer hunting one time knowing something wasn't right and laughed uncontrollably when I realized my bow was sitting in the bed of my truck a mile away! I have never forgot my turkey gun or bow during the spring though! Ha! Ha!
