This past week was the Early Season here in Florida for Wood Ducks and Teal. Even with the recent rainfall from tropical depressions and such, the water levels are SO low. Navigating in some of the local lakes and swamps is pretty tricky for sure. The birds were flying, and there was some action when the sun was shining. Once the clouds kicked in and it cooled off, so did the ducks. I had a blast however, and can't wait for the regular season in November! I learned a lot, and picked up some new spots that I am looking forward to hunting.
