NEW Foam Fit Mouth Calls

What does everyone think of the NEW Foam Fit mouth calls?

I like the design, but they are harder to fit in my mouth. I like thin tape and I think they are a little too bulky for me.

Now on the other hand, everyone I have shown them to really likes them, I guess I'm odd? :)

My buddy used one this spring and said nothing but good things about it. Interesting concept.

You gotta open your mouth and work your chin more open and shut to get em crankin' cuz o' the fatter "tape" which is foam. If you have any serious dental work inhibiting good fit or feel of thin tapes, these foams will fit in there and give you a good seal.
I used a easy double and she sounded real young and sweet. The gobbler liked it though not enough to pull him away from the hen he had in hand.

When I first tried the standard foam fit calls, the foam was way too much for my palate--I could barely render a basic yelp. I came across a foam fit mini-mag old boss hen lite. Seems I can run the mini-mag foam fits just fine. The old boss hen lite is a very clear call w/ little to no rasp. The foam seems to stick to the palate and is more comfortable.

Does QB offer anything in the mini-mag foam fit line that is raspy?

The Checkmate and Double Slash offer a real crisp rasp that I have come to love

Took out the clippers and made some cuts on the foam fit mini mag old boss hen lite call....Sounds better with a slight nasal rasp...I am calling it the "slu* cut":eek:

If anyone has issues with the regular foam fit mouth calls (ie: too big), you might want to give the mini-mag foam fits a try this year.

Just like all the calls that have come out you have to find the one that works best for you. Single spike has always been a favorite of mine and when they included it in the foam fit I smiled! Great idea and one that will surely go a long way with QB!
