I'm in the market for a new sight and just sold my Black Gold Flashpoint. I did not care for the short mounting bracket on the flashpoint and could never get the sight far enough away from the rise to my liking. Just looking for suggestions. Been looking at the Sword and some others. Like to keep the price $100 or below. Any suggestions are welcome

Check out the Apex Gear line, by TruGLO. The Bone Collector, may fit the bill. The T/G Super Slam is also pretty sweet. They are the newest on the block, and seem quite ILL(Cool in BEATDOWN CITY vernacular)

I am using a T/G Range Rover at the moment, and love it.

It's all Cash-Money, paul! That's what I like about forums, the ability to put your thoughts, experience, and input in and use it to help people. It's different if you go on a forum just trying to push your own agenda on people, and to be a brow-beater. I know you are an archer's archer

I'm sick of the Bone Collector hype also. I was really less than enthusiastic to hear that they were also added to the mix. I could live with Chuck Adams because growing up, he was my idol. He was and still is totally legit, and passionate about bowhunting. Those other guys are more of a circus act. Perhaps I am being a bit unfair, but we'll see. I'll be around the B/C's for three whole days next month:eek:, so

The TruGlo products that I have come into contact with recently have been pretty solid. The GobbleStopper red dot scope that I used during the second phase of my turkey season impressed me with it's durability and reaction to some weird weather in the North.

I have tried some of the TruGlo stuff in the past and it just did not work for me. I will leave it at that. I currently use the Flashpoint myself. So far I am impressed. The price is stiff but I am usually willing to pay a little extra if I feel that I am getting quality in return.

Just my 2 cents.

Been leaning towards the Sword Twilight Hunter that is around $85....Thanks for the input fellas. If I get the sword, I will do a review on here and take some good photos.

Made up my mind...going w/ the sword twilight hunter .19 pins and 2.25 ring. I dont baby my equip. and I think the sword will hold up to the abuse. I had a Copper John Dead Nutz about 4 yrs. ago and it was a good soild sight, but the pins brightness was not great.

The only thing I kept on my bow this year was the ripcord rest...replacing the sight, stabilizer and need to get the new string ordered from that guy Reylamb over on GON. I'm running behind scheule already!!!:D

I shoot an old truglo 3 pin, not sure of the model, but i havent had any problems out of it. its all metal. i wouldnt buy any of that plastic garbage. My buddy bought a pendulum sight a couple years ago and it fell apart before he could even get it sighted in. All in all stay away from the plastic crap, and you usually get what you pay for.
