Has anyone used any of Hevi-Shot's new Steel load, "Hevi-Metal"?

That was a very interesting post. Thanks for sharing it. Any new product will run into it's share of growing pains. I was just curious as to if anyone on here had decided to try the new stuff out. I'm sticking with my BlackCloud, and Kent Fasteel. These are two very strong performers at a reasonable price.
In fairness, reading the post, there were some things that raised red flags to me, mostly with the shot size selections these guys were making to hunt geese with:eek:

I heard black cloud performed pretty poorly, and its not the cheapest stuff that's for sure. I haven't run any through my SuperNova yet but soon enough. Waiting for my Carlson's Extended Super Steel Choke right now, not in a rush to get a black cloud choke...
Probably stick to steel, it hasen't slowed me down yet :D

Black Cloud isn't magic stuff, but I have killed some Mallards at pretty impressive ranges with this stuff. I was wearing them out with it January, in a sub-freezing Pennsylvania, with my Supernova, using a factory MOD tube. My favorite was the Mallard Drake, that I shot at 60yds that had one Flitestopper pellet go from one shoulder all the way to the feathers and skin on the other side. Through the base of his neck along the way. I did an autopsy, b/c my friend who was sharing the spot with me was also shooting at the bird, and thought he took it down with his BBB's.:D
After shooting hundreds of rounds of Hevi-Shot,Fed Heavyweight, and other turkey loads, at the patterning board, and only getting ten per box for $20 to $30+, I think BC is a pretty good deal, considering you get 25 shells for about $21 for 3in.
Kent Fasteel is just as good, and is only $14 at Gander Mtn. for the same amount.
