Hope everyone's seasons are going great! Hunting up here in Maine has been wonderful and in 11 days my focus will be shifting from waterfowl, upland, bear, and coyote to TURKEYS! I am so excited and have already set up 3 places where the flock is moving daily. Please share your pics and stories if your seasons have already started/ended. Everyone else, please post as your seasons open and you close the deal!
Happy Hunting and Good Luck! :)

Tyson,
Today was my first day in Pa. and I am stoked! I had a couple chances to shoot deer with my bow already, and there is still two days until duck season opens:D I love that feeling of the first day b/c you can be choosy about using your tag too early. Now with my luck, I won't see another deer! That's ok though, as the ducks are why I'm really here, and the sky is thick with them! Thanks for sending them down our way!:p

Thanks, man. I was bowhunting on the edge of one of my "honey holes" for ducks this A.M., so I could get a feel for the duck activity in the early morning, and I was in pure Heaven listening to all the quacking, squeeling, and whistling wings before the sun even came up! Come Sunrise tomorrow, it's on, Broseph!

From what the majority say there are a couple of techniques. Some call them in than scatter them and call them back in to get the shot at the Turkey they want while others call or stalk. The best calls for Fall from what the Pro Staff here and at other forums have told me is that kee kee and kee kee run calls work best. I will be using my ground blind in a thin patch of tall grass and bushes that splits two fields that the birds frequent daily. I have been watching them for the last couple of weeks and it appears to be their daily food trail. We have a giant flock up on my land and I just hope to get the gobbler flock to head my way.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting! :D

Starts on the 21st here in Oklahoma, then black powder starts on the 24th, I have been seeing a small flock of birds almost everytime I go out, and there is a nice tom in the group, good luck to all.
