Anyone done any scouting yet?

I had plans to scout Jumper Creek WMA here in Florida this weekend, but it has been raining all day. Anyone been out looking around?

I'm in Western NC. I went out 3 or 4 week ago, covered 400 acres & didn't see any sign at all. It made me nervous....but....it's still early....I guess :confused: .

I wrote about it in my thread in "The Lounge." I scouted as far as camp, which in and of itself was a feat. We spent the night Saturday, and my sons went out for a while Sunday morning. The dogs came back in 20 minutes. The sons came back in an hour, quite cold. Me? All I had to do was go out back with my coffee at sunup. I heard one owl and no turkeys-- still way to early.

We waited for the snow to melt off the roads and then headed back.
